Our activity program offers adults a wide array of individualized opportunities in the local area. One or two people work with a staff person to plan fun and educational options in their local towns in order to become a more active member of the community. Consumers enjoy monthly potluck dinners that are held in Bath and sometimes number up to 90 participants. These dinners provide an opportunity to renew acquaintance, to try out different foods and to have a good time learning the latest dance step. Individuals are also involved in a variety of volunteer and community activities – including delivering Meals on Wheels to senior citizens and helping to care for the animals at the Humane Society. These opportunities provide a way for consumers to give back to the communities that have been generous in so many ways.
